General Function: This position is responsible for performing payroll processing tasks which include preparation and submission of weekly and biweekly payrolls and payroll related reports.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll insuring accurate input of weekly hours,
commission/bonus payments and garnishments and other deductions.
- Coordinate weekly delivery of payroll checks to company sites.
- Process and distribute payroll related reports for internal departments and other requirements such as for insurance premiums.
- Responds to requests from employees concerning payroll related / personnel matters
- Assist with new hire processing and other HR related functions.
Requirements:
- 3+ years payroll processing experience
- Must have knowledge of ADP payroll systems with experience using ADP’s PC Payroll program. Experience with ReportSmith and HR Perspective a plus.
- Familiar with payroll processing issues for multiple states also a plus.
- Attention to detail and effective time management skills are a must.
